This policy is provided by PlayBrixel (“we,” “us”), operator of PlayBrixel (the “Service”). We keep what we collect small on purpose.
1. What we collect
- Your age. Entered once to confirm you are 18 or older. It is not tied to your name or stored as part of a personal profile.
- Contact form details. If you write to us: your name, email, and message.
- Account details (when accounts are available): email and the builds you save.
- Technical & usage data. Device, browser, approximate region, and basic analytics to keep the Service working.
- Local storage. A small flag in your browser so we remember you’ve played. Not shared with us.
2. How we use it
To run the challenge, generate a build target, reply to your messages, operate accounts and paid features, prevent abuse, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the Service, under contract — for example our hosting provider, our email provider (Postmark), and our image-generation provider. They may process data only to provide their service to us.
4. Cookies & local storage
We use essential local storage as described above. If we add non-essential analytics or cookies, we’ll ask for consent where required.
5. Children
The Service is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data retention
We keep contact messages and account data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize them.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these, contact us at hello@playbrixel.com.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
